We began our training program over 12 years ago when we first met a family looking for a dog that would be past the puppy age and understand some basic obedience and leash walking. We never thought doing such a small gesture for a family in need would turn out to be something many other families were looking for.

Our training practice begins early our pups using the Von Folconers way getting the pups adjusted to new sounds and responding to people. The Rule of 7s goes a long way to prepping the pups for the world ahead and helping them adapt to what is before them which is crucial to the early stages of training. The real learning begins at 7 weeks leash introduction and crate training.

Crate training is a vital tool in helping young pups control their bladder and work through their separation anxiety. Leash training at a young age begins letting the pups feel the weight of the leash and just follow us around it. To encourage the pups to walk on the correct side and keep walking, we use treats often of pieces of kibbles and chicken. After a few days we begin to hold the leash and guide the pups.

Obedience begins coming to a whistle. Pups are taught a whistle, kiss, or a snap is a sound that means food. Pavlov proved a correlation between action and reaction and we prepare our pups to learn such a vital command when they first start eating food. We use the combined whistle and name to call a pup “Come” and reward a yummy treat once the pup has reached us.

Most of the basics Sit, Down, and Stay are learned over the first 2 weeks. We utilize the pups natural behaviors and instincts to teach them each position. We go one step further our trained pups by teaching them fun tricks to make training more versatile and enjoyable. These tricks are a mixture of High 5, Sit Up, Dance, Roll Over, and Crawl. Not all pups master all the tricks but we do incorporate them in the training practice. It becomes a routine one that we teach each family that is adding a trained dog to their home.

Shipping Terms and Conditions

Shipping and subsequent delivery of your puppy to your address has never been easier. Your puppy will travel in a climate controlled cabin area for pets, in an airline approved carrier. Ahead of time you will have a flight #, arrival time, and a reference # that identifies your puppy. We equally make all the arrangements for your puppy to be delivered to your home address, as well as you can pick your puppy up at the airport, just like picking up a person & you will need a reference/air bill number. Whatever suits you and the puppy best is what we strive to provide. Shipping is totally safe & stress free on the puppy. You will receive puppy usually in 24 hours same day after shipping depending on your location. Puppies on planes are as safe as you or I flying. I have shipped dogs for more than 11 years now. I always try to ship direct non stop when flying puppies and adults. In my experience and opinion, my puppies are very comfortable and the new owners tell me that their new puppy has arrived happy and not at all stressed.

We ship our puppies using airlines because it is the fastest & safest way to transport our puppies from our place to yours especially if you live far away or in another state. Our puppies are shipped in an airline approved plastic pet kennel that we customize depending on the weight of the puppy, the distance or duration of the journey. They ride in a special climate controlled & pressurized compartment on the plane which is no difference from the cabin. They are not in the same compartment as the passenger luggage.

Our shipping crates are clearly marked colorful “LIVE ANIMALS” and “UP” stickers. We mark the crates clearly the destination airport, the confirmation number, the phone & address of the customer. When we know that a puppy is going to be shipped, we play them in the crate prior to shipping so they are used to it. They have never shown fear of the crate. We put lots of food & plenty of water in the shipping crate. The water provide all the moisture the puppy need during delivery. One reason we do this is in case, in the unlikely event the puppy should get stuck at an airport overnight (because of connecting flight trouble), we don’t have to worry if they have enough to eat or drink. Although traveling is not that hard on them, we do not like to make them spend any more time than absolutely necessary in transit. For this reason we also look for the shortest route & always schedule direct flights if possible.

We check weather conditions at the receiving end and only ship when we consider it safe to do so. We put our puppies’ health above all other considerations and do not ship when we feel it could be dangerous to the puppies’ well-being. We usually ship Monday – Saturday. We guarantee safe & healthy arrival of your puppy. We WILL NOT SHIP if we feel that weather conditions are hazardous for the puppy. Your puppy may take few days to adjust once they get to their new homes, sometimes it takes them a day or two to settle in, but by far, the vast majority of people tell us they just step right out of the shipping crate & act right at home.
